A full-length but not-too-heavy hiking sock, the 61C has a breathable wool cushion sole and the adjacent CoolMax®draws perspiration away from the skin to keep feet dry. The outer shell of this merino blend sock is a hard-wearing nylon, so these things will just keep on keeping on.

You can only really assess hiking socks over a period of time. But initial impressions are positive: they are well made, very comfortable, and look like they will last. They are a mid thickness hiking sock, so are very versatile. My long distance hiking days are sadly over but I still use only merino socks for everyday walking and work, and these socks look excellent for what I need.
And they are Australian made!

I bought two pairs of Humphrey Law socks to walk the Camino Frances earlier this year, as well as 3 pairs of Injinji toe socks and a pair of Injinji liners.
Not a single blister.
Once my Camino was over, 1 spent another 3 months traipsing around Europe.
The Injinji liners didn't last the distance. My Humphrey Law socks are like new!
