With the Ottie Merino women's merino wool short sleeve t-shirt we set out to give women what they wanted. Out with the bright colours (though, we have one brighty in the range now, the Coastal Blue). Out with the piddly little sleeves and gaping neckline. In with a tee that's designed for the woman that hikes. 

Ethically made in Australia (Melbourne, in fact) from Australian grown mulesing-free wool, our women's merino hiking top is ideal for that gruelling multi-day hike in Tasmania, your favourite day hike in the Blue Mountains, and paired your favourite bottoms at the pub at the end of that trip of a lifetime.

I travel on a full time basis and hike a lo, so the T-shirts were purchased for every day wear and hiking. I ordered from Ottie as I liked the colours available. Delivery was quick and the fit was good. Overall a nice T-shirt. The fabric is a bit denser than my other Merino T-shirts, which are icebreaker brand. I prefer the icebreaker brand material as I feel the Ottie ones might breathe as well on hot days as my others do. However, I love the colours available from Ottie.

Love these tshirts!

I love these - both for hiking and everyday wear. The length is great and the cut is a lot more flattering than the photos suggest. The colours are lovely and the. material is great quality - my backpack doesn’t rub holes in it the way it does with tshirts from that other well known merino brand (starts with ‘I’)…
