Humphrey Law 27B Merino Wool Ankle Socks - CYCLING
Made by our Ethical Clothing Australia-accredited mates Humphrey Law here in Melbourne, the 27B Merino Wool Ankle Sock are a the perfect sock for those that wear trail shoes (and like a low cut sock) on the track rather than chunky boots.
This ankle-height sock is referred to as a 'cycling sock' by Humphrey Law but they're ideal as a shoe hiking sock too. From the manufacturer: "The use of high quality merino wool outside combined with CoolMax®inside produces a sock that keeps the foot comfortable and less sweaty. The CoolMax® wicks perspiration away from the skin foot and nylon in the heel and toe provide additional reinforcement."
Why do we stock these Australian made merino ankle hiking socks? These have been our go-to low-cut 'trail shoe sock' or 'short sock' for a couple of years now and we swear by them. Now available to Ottie Merino customers.
Made from 54% Merino Wool, 25% CoolMax®, 19% Nylon, 2% Lycra.

Comfy socks which fit really well. Bought them for cycling. Haven't tried them out on the bike yet but they should be good.
Nice fit and comfortable socks. Enjoying putting them on each time I go the gym...
I really like these socks. However after 6 months of wearing them 2-3 times a week at the gym or hiking/running (5km or so) they’re already worn near the heels in both socks.
Got the long sleeve merino top. Heaps of room , sleeves are long, maybe a bit too long. The sleeves are a bit loose around wrist, so maybe a disadvantage in cold weather, but makes it really easy to roll up sleeves which I tend to do anyway. Nice light comfortable wearing material
Quality of material is very good, runs on the small size
Have just started using the merino T shirt and socks. Great on long hikes even in humid queensland weather. Very comfortable even with a backpack. The socks not 100% merino for obvious reasons are super comfortable both for long cycle tips as well as hikes. Though I marked hiking, I have been using it for cycling and running as well (Only one option selectable)
Love the merino socks, no sweaty feet!
Nice
So comfortable, I love them 😊
The t-shirts are well made and they are the softest wool ever. Love them and have ordered more!!
